Bone Densitometry is an examination to determine the density of the bone, such as in the spine, hip, wrist and the entire body, to check for osteoporosis and to assist physicians in the diagnosis of diseases associated with bone density.
This type of examination does not need any special preparation and can be done immediately. However, a change of clothing may be required. It is, therefore, recommended to wear comfortable and easy-to-change clothes. Wearing jewelry is also not advisable.
