Ultrasound operated by using high frequency sound waves beyond the level that human ears can hear. These waves do not cause any harm and used in detecting abnormalities in the internal organs such as the liver, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, kidney, uterus, bladder, prostate, and fetus. It can also see vascular anomalies. The patient does not feel pain in the inspection area but will feel a little bit of pressure.
